NovaCalc is a calculator app that also contains a private messenger. It is built so that we cannot read your content: messages are end-to-end encrypted on your device before they ever reach our servers.

We do not collect: your phone number, your phone's address book (never accessed), location, advertising identifiers, or analytics fingerprints. NovaCalc contains no ads and sells no data.
Google Firebase (authentication, database, cloud functions — hosted in the United States, us-central1) and Expo (push notification delivery). Each receives only what its function requires.
Content lives until you delete it. Conversations with a disappearing-message timer delete automatically on that schedule. Delete account (Settings → Account) permanently removes your profile, username, devices, contacts, invitations, and encrypted messages within 30 days; conversation copies held by other participants remain theirs, like any messenger. You may request access, correction, deletion, or a copy of your data at support@thenovacalc.com (note: message content is encrypted and unreadable to us, so a copy covers account data only). NovaCalc is not directed at children; the minimum age is 13, or higher where local law requires. For users in the EEA/UK, data is processed on the legal bases of contract performance (providing the service) and legitimate interest (abuse prevention); international transfers to US infrastructure are safeguarded by standard contractual clauses through our processors.
